Clients can expect creativity, detailed planning, and exceptional project management from Camden Creek. They know when the project starts, what it will look like, how much it will cost and how long it will take. Here’s how:

    First Meeting
  1. First Meeting
    • Discuss clients overall wants, needs and desires.
    • Evaluate the existing space and how to incorporate new design.
    • We ask for the client’s ideas, provide design ideas, and then together we determine what is important to the client.
    • Review our planning and building process and how it is structured to ensure the project's success.
    • Discuss the overall project budget so that we can design within that budget.
  2. Next Steps
    • Review property conditions and determine the work involved.
    • Define the scope of work.
    • At the next meeting, designs and plans are presented for client approval.
  3. Scope of Work
  4. Scope of Work
    • Prepare a comprehensive scope of work from the approved designs. This is a detailed description of each step of the construction process, from foundation to site completion.
    • Review this with the client to assure that all details are included in scope of work.
    • The scope of work clearly defines what is, and is not included in the project, providing a clear understanding of expectations.
    • Construction agreement is presented and discussed with the client.
  5. Plan Submittal

All plans and required engineering will now be submitted to the City or County based clients’ approval. Depending on the complexity of the project, this step can take between one week and three months.

  6. Project Beginning
  7. Finalize selections
    • All materials and appliance choices are determined at this stage.
    • The project designer helps the client make selections that are coordinated, from materials of the countertops to tile colors & patterns, to the design of fixtures and cabinetry handles. Each of these small aspects, when coordinated, makes the new space unique and show quality.
    • Specifications and details for all choices are put together in a complete “spec” plan.
  8. Project beginning
    • Once the plans, permits and materials are selected, the project begins.
    • Specification review with client, project designer and superintendent. All client questions are addressed.
    • Job site meeting with client to review scope of work, specifications and timelines.
  9. Client Contact
    • The project superintendent provides a project time line to client and is always available to discuss the overall project.
    • Clients also may contact the project designer and office at any time with questions.
    • Our goal is to have work completed on a daily basis in order to move the project along quickly to completion.
  10. Completion
  11. Completion
    • Prior to completion, the client and project superintendent walk the project and record any small items or details that need to be altered to ensure 100% project satisfaction.
    • The client receives a detailed packet of information about warranted products and services and is asked to complete a satisfaction survey.
    • We value client feedback so that we can continue to identify ways to make our building process streamlined, enjoyable and predictable.
    • If we’ve done our job well, we’ve earned a client for life.
